Grant importance to the imperative; of all speech forms the imperative is the last one that we would let them take away. Not that information is trifling, either in the gathering via questions or in the broadcasting via assertions, but in spite of the supremacy of the assertion in the imagination of academic students of language, action is that of which we would primarily say, lose not its name.
